Hollywood Dodgers 2024 LVI Tournament Design

Designing for the Hollywood Dodgers Las Vegas Tournament presented a unique creative challenge: how to blend Asian cultural roots, the high-energy vibe of Las Vegas, and the unifying spirit of basketball into a single visual identity that would resonate across generations—from young kids to veteran players.

My intent was to create a design that felt both modern and rooted in tradition—something playful enough for youth teams, yet elevated enough for older athletes and families who’ve supported the tournament for years. I explored iconography tied to Asian heritage, Vegas landmarks, and basketball motifs, then merged them using bold lines and a versatile color palette.

Throughout the process, I balanced detail with clarity, ensuring the design would translate across shirts, merch, and social platforms. I iterated with feedback from the team to find the right tone—one that captured the energy of the event while honoring its cultural significance. This project reflects my commitment to design that brings people together and tells stories beyond the surface.
