Project Overview
This self-initiated project explores how a potential partnership between the LA Lakers and Funko could be translated into a clear, visually engaging pitch deck. The goal was to take a recognizable crossover idea and shape it into a presentation that felt branded, structured, and easy to follow. Built as a concept, the project focuses on how the collaboration could be introduced, framed, and extended across products, fan culture, and promotional touchpoints through a cohesive slide narrative.
Approach
I built the deck around the visual language of both brands, using bold layouts, clear hierarchy, and structured pacing to guide the story from slide to slide. The focus was on making the concept feel polished and easy to understand while showing how the collaboration could extend across products, fan culture, and branded touchpoints.
Outcome
The final deck presents the collaboration as a polished concept, showing how the partnership could extend across collectibles, branded experiences, and fan-facing campaign moments. More than just a slide presentation, the project demonstrates my ability to translate a broad idea into a structured visual narrative that feels cohesive, engaging, and presentation-ready.
Design Thinking
Visual Hierarchy:
Each slide was built around bold scale, clear focal points, and fast readability to keep the concept easy to follow.
Typography:
Strong headline treatments brought in the energy of the Lakers brand, while supporting text stayed clean and structured.
Color & Imagery:
The visual system pulled from the Lakers palette and paired it with product-driven imagery to make the concept feel recognizable and fan-facing.
Brand Integration:
Elements from both brands were balanced to create a cohesive visual system rather than two competing identities.

The deck was designed as a pitch story, with each slide building on the last to move the concept forward clearly.
